On Tuesday, Apple held their annual new product launch event.  Several upgraded products were introduced:  the new Apple Series 9 and Ultra 2 watches, updated AirPods, and the headliner:  the iPhone 15.  The iPhone 15 family includes several incremental improvements over the previous corresponding iPhone 14 versions, but what really caught my attention was the new colors!  Some media pundits claimed that the new pastel colors were influenced by the Barbie movie that debuted this summer (sorry, I didn’t see it – I’m not exactly their target audience).  Take a look at the new iPhone 15 colors:

Now, check out some of the pastel paper colors that DALLAS PRINTING has been offering for over 53 years:

Notice any similarities?  So, on the one hand we have a movie that’s been out only a couple months (seen by less than one-fifth of the U.S. population) and on the other hand a bedrock local company printing on pastel paper for over half a century.  It seems to me that DALLAS PRINTING might the real influencer on Apple’s iPhone color decisions…
