Envelope Sealing

Envelope sealing is one of the direct mail services that DALLAS PRINTING provides to our clients. In addition to the standard #10 regular and window envelopes, 9” X 12” catalog envelopes, and 9” X 12” booklet envelopes, we perform envelope sealing on a myriad of other envelope shapes and sizes.

For mailings utilizing an envelope, envelope sealing is typically the last mailing process before the mail pieces are placed into trays or sacks and delivered to the U.S. Postal Service. Gummed envelopes with water-soluble adhesive require the proper amount of moisture and pressure for secure sealing, while peel ‘n seal envelopes need pressure for sealing after removal of the waxy release coat paper covering from the pressure-sensitive adhesive. For envelopes containing thick contents such as directories, DALLAS PRINTING can add packaging tape over the seal for additional strength and security once the regular envelope sealing has been completed.
