Direct mail continues to be the most effective marketing method – bar none. Ever wonder why your mailbox is full of information from political candidates, real estate agents, insurance companies, retailers, and more? It certainly isn’t because direct mail doesn’t work. Tangible, full-color mailers make a significantly greater impression than more ephemeral digital marketing.
Some good news on the direct mail front: It looks like there will be no postage rate increase in January 2025 as previously planned. The USPS has seen declining mail volumes and mounting deficits from their recent rate increases. Hopefully, future rate increases will be limited to the rate of inflation.
